Brad Point Drills for E-Z Knife™ Threaded Inserts for Hard Wood
Brad Point drills are the go-to solution for drilling clean, accurate holes in hard wood, prior to installing our E-Z Knife Threaded Inserts. A cross between a regular twist drill and a spade bit, Brad Point drills feature a sharp tip at the end of the drill.
This tip bites into the wood and helps keep the drill from “wandering” when first starting to drill. The tip also makes it easy to accurately position the drill, so the hole ends up exactly where you want it.
Brad point drills can be used in either handheld drills or drill presses.
Certain parts of the wood may be tougher to drill than other parts. This can cause a problem when using ordinary twist drills. But it’s not an issue when using brad point drills. Brad point drills create clean holes without having to worry about splintering or tear-out.
