1. How Do E-Z Hex™ Threaded Inserts Work?

Our hex drive threaded inserts are designed with standard ID threads and a proprietary external thread that is ideal for soft wood, composition board, MDF, and plywood. Our E-Z Hex threaded insert installation kits also come with the components you need to install them, like the drive tool and drill bit. After the insert is threaded into place, you have a strong, machined metal thread that will hold up to repeated bolt installations and removals.
