Punch hole centers with .002" accuracy Punching accurate hole centers is extremely important in precision metal working. It is particularly important for tool and die-makers, layout men, and general machinists. Even the most accurate layout job can be spoiled by an off-center or diagonal hole center punch. Center-Rite eliminates mistakes in punching hole centers and ensures a straight punch with accuracies to .002". It is so simple that no special skills are required to use it.

The complete center-rite set consists of:

• Center-Rite body with precision centering hole
• Gem Centering-Gage
• Precision transfer center punch

The Center-Rite body has a precision hole in its center. The bottom of the unit has a built-in magnet that holds firmly in place once the center point has been located, but permits it to be moved around while locating centers. The centering-gage is a plastic, optical column that has been ground and polished to provide 6 power magnification without distortion or parallax. It is designed to collect and concentrate room light on the surface to be viewed, so that no accessory light is required. Crosshairs in the viewer provide precise location of centers.
