Ideal for applications where insert size and weight are an issue, E-Z LOK Thin Wall threaded inserts pack all the advantages of traditional E-Z LOK inserts into a smaller diameter design.

Note: The Thin Wall design requires a modified external thread. While the external thread pitch is standard, the minor diameter is larger than normal. So installation requires a hole slightly larger than normal. For example, if a Thin Wall with a 1/2-13 external thread is being installed, a standard 29/64 drill is used as opposed to the typical 27/64. The hole is still tapped with a standard 1/2-13 tap.
